Another quick update with a special prayer request:
First of all, Jackson is doing well. He went in for his Brain MRI this afternoon but we have yet to receive any results. To perform the MRI they gave Jackson a paralytic drug which meant that they had to go up on his ventilator as well to support him. They are now in process of weaning him back down with hopes of removing (extubating) the breathing tube either late tonight or tomorrow morning.
Special prayer request:
As I mentioned in the last blog, Melissa has been feeling a bit under the weather with flu like symptoms so we went to North Kansas City Hospital to get her checked out. They are running several different labs to see if we can identify what is causing Melissa so much discomfort. We hope to have more information tomorrow but could use your prayers. Please pray that this would turn out to be nothing serious and that Melissa would be able to rejoin Jackson and me at Children’s Mercy very soon.
Keep watching for new posts and keep praying for God’s continuing hand of healing and comfort over our family. Thank you all!
Joe
Intro
This blog is dedicated to updates and info on the life of Jackson Nathanael Adam. Jackson was critically ill when born and had to go on ECMO (heart and lung bypass). He made a miraculous recovery, and this is his story! Our intention with this blog was to update friends and family on Jackson's progress and specific prayer requests we had during his extensive stay in the NICU. We will probably move to a family website at some point. :) Thank you for loving him!

We're agreeing with you for good MRI results, good breathing and supernatural healing for Melissa. All the hospital stress can't be helping the recovery, but we serve a powerful God!
Much love,

Hang in there, Joe. You may feel like the Lone Ranger on the open frontier but we have your back.
It is all going to work out.
Do you know the "Footprints" poem?
Just know that HE is carrying you!
Hugs all around!
We're praying for you guys and Jackson. Just got back in town yesterday and got caught up with your blog. We prayed as a family for him tonight. Blessings, Shawn
