We will post more updates tonight after we go eat (we have to leave the ECMO room in about 15 minutes for their shift change, and they don't let us back in until 8 pm). We will probably post later around 9, 9:30 or so....and do some sort of a slide show as well on pics we've taken.
Until then, an immediate prayer request: Please continue to pray for his oxygen saturation. He had been doing well earlier today (he even opened his eyes, it was so beautiful, we will post the pics later!) :) But now, the doctors just stopped in and have left and are discussing his oxygen saturation. It dropped quite a bit today again, and they're not sure what is causing it, he is in some sort of distress. They like it to be in the upper 90's to 100, as he is on oxygen support with ECMO, and his numbers dropped again to the low 80's, which is not good. PLEASE pray for this fervently tonight. He is a fighter but needs your prayers and the Lord's help. Thanks....
Intro
This blog is dedicated to updates and info on the life of Jackson Nathanael Adam. Jackson was critically ill when born and had to go on ECMO (heart and lung bypass). He made a miraculous recovery, and this is his story! Our intention with this blog was to update friends and family on Jackson's progress and specific prayer requests we had during his extensive stay in the NICU. We will probably move to a family website at some point. :) Thank you for loving him!

dear Missy and Joe,
I am in prayer for Jack and his oxygen levels right now. I am asking the Father to breathe His breath into little Jack and fill his body with God's pure love and healing. I'm reading Exodus in the mornings, and am thinking about how God does things in His own time and it's perfect. Why did God have to send all those plagues when He knew which one would crumble Pharoah's heart? He told the people that He wanted them to tell their children what mighty things the Lord God did for them getting them out of Egypt. I'm anticipating that you will tell Jack what mighty things God did for him getting him out of this amazing birth. We love you and Joe so much and now we love little Jack as well. You are always on our minds in prayer........Barb A. and Gary too
Will be praying for Jack and his oxygen levels. Keep trusting in Him, He will give you the strength you need for each day. love you Missy
